Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

Arrive at Srinagar Airport where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel or houseboat. Spend the day exploring Srinagar's iconic sights – take a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake, followed by visits to Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Enjoy Kashmiri cuisine for dinner and prepare for your offbeat journey. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Aharbal – Gateway to Tranquility

After breakfast, depart for Aharbal Waterfall, around 70 km from Srinagar (approx. 2.5–3 hours drive) via Shopian. On arrival, check into a guesthouse or eco-lodge near the waterfall. Spend the day exploring the majestic Aharbal Falls, often called the "Niagara of Kashmir" for its powerful drop over alpine cliffs. Enjoy the serene pine forests and peaceful atmosphere away from crowds. Overnight stay in Aharbal.

Day 3: Aharbal – Explore Kulgam Valley and Surroundings

After breakfast, take a relaxed excursion to the nearby Kulgam Valley. Explore local villages, interact with hospitable locals, and take short hikes or nature walks through the orchards and meadows. Day 4: Optional Trek to Kongwattan Meadow or Leisure Day

Today, adventurous travelers can opt for a short day hike to Kongwattan, a hidden alpine meadow nestled deep in the Pir Panjal range (approx. 7–8 km one way). It's a moderate trek through pine forests and along the Vishav River, perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Day 5: Aharbal to Srinagar – Departure

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and drive back to Srinagar. Depending on your flight timing, you may stop at local fruit orchards or spice farms along the way. You’ll be dropped at Srinagar Airport for your departure, carrying the peaceful memory of Kashmir’s hidden gem – Aharbal.
