Srinagar The-Venice Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Shikara Ride & Floating Dreams
Your honeymoon begins with your arrival in Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir and famously known as the "Venice of the East." Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a luxurious houseboat on Dal Lake. After check-in, enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the lake, gliding through floating gardens and colorful markets with the stunning Zabarwan mountains in the background. Spend a cozy evening watching the sunset over the lake followed by a traditional Kashmiri dinner on your houseboat.

Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing – Mughal Gardens & Old City Strolls
After breakfast, begin exploring Srinagar’s iconic attractions. Visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi – known for their Persian-style architecture and blooming flowers. Later, visit the Shankaracharya Temple which offers panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. Spend the evening exploring the Old City, strolling through local bazaars for saffron, pashmina shawls, and Kashmiri handicrafts. Return to your hotel or houseboat for a peaceful night. 

Day 3: Day Trip to Gulmarg – Meadows of Romance
Post breakfast, embark on a day trip to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most romantic and scenic destinations (approx. 2 hrs drive). Explore its green meadows, pine forests, and snow-covered slopes. Enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car) to Apharwat Peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and even play in the snow, depending on the season. After a fun-filled day, return to Srinagar for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Day Trip to Pahalgam – The Valley of Shepherds
Today, head to Pahalgam, a beautiful valley nestled along the Lidder River (approx. 2.5 hrs drive). En route, pass by saffron fields and the historic Awantipora Ruins. In Pahalgam, enjoy a nature walk or optional pony ride to Baisaran (Mini Switzerland). You can also visit Aru and Betaab Valley for spectacular views. Return to Srinagar in the evening for your final night in paradise.

Day 5: Departure from Srinagar – Farewell to Paradise
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat. You’ll be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your honeymoon amidst the tranquil beauty of Kashmir.
