Religious Char Dham Tour

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (Approx. 200 km / 7-8 hrs)

Begin your holy journey from Haridwar. Drive through scenic mountain roads toward Barkot, a peaceful hill town located near Yamunotri. En route, pass through Mussoorie, stopping briefly at Kempty Falls. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (Drive + Trek)

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, from where the 5-6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple begins (pony/palki available). Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and take a holy dip in the Surya Kund. After darshan and pooja, return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast, head toward Uttarkashi, a town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Drive 100 km one way)

Leave early for a full-day excursion to Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. En route, enjoy the beauty of Harsil Valley and Bhagirathi River. On reaching Gangotri, take a holy dip in the Ganga (Bhagirathi) and perform darshan at the Gangotri Temple. Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (Approx. 220 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a spiritually important town near Kedarnath. On the way, see the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers at Rudraprayag. On arrival in Guptkashi, check in to your hotel. Visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Drive + Trek or Helicopter)

Today, head toward Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Drive to Gaurikund (start point for 16 km trek to Kedarnath) or use helicopter service (optional). Reach Kedarnath Temple, perform pooja and take in the spiritual energy of the region. Overnight stay in Kedarnath (basic accommodation).

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi – Badrinath – Haridwar (or break return journey)

Early morning, trek/fly back to Gaurikund and then drive toward Badrinath, the final Dham. Visit the Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund, Mana Village (India’s last village), and Vyas Gufa. After darshan, you can either:

• Stay overnight in Badrinath and return to Haridwar the next day, OR

• Begin your return journey to Rudraprayag/Srinagar and then to Haridwar.
