Ladakh Adventure with Pangong Lake

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization and Leisure
Arrive at Leh’s Kushok Bakula Airport, where you’ll be received and transferred to your hotel. Since Leh is located at an altitude of over 11,000 feet, take the day to rest and acclimatize. In the evening, if you feel well, explore the local Leh Market, visit Shanti Stupa for sunset views, or simply relax with traditional Ladakhi tea. Overnight stay in Leh. 

Day 2: Leh – Sham Valley Excursion
After breakfast, set out for an exciting day trip through the Sham Valley region. Visit the Hall of Fame (war memorial museum), the mysterious Magnetic Hill, and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Then head to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu, a beautiful scenic spot. On the way back, stop at Spituk Monastery or Alchi Monastery if time permits. Return to Leh for overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La
Start early for a scenic drive to Pangong Tso via Chang La Pass (5,360 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. En route, admire the stark beauty of Ladakhi landscapes, grazing yaks, and nomadic settlements. On reaching Pangong Lake, be amazed by its ever-changing blue hues and stunning mountain backdrop. Spend the evening walking by the lake or stargazing at night. Overnight stay in a lakeside camp.

Day 4: Pangong Lake to Leh via Hemis Monastery
Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, begin the drive back to Leh. On the way, visit the famous Hemis Monastery – one of the richest and largest monasteries in Ladakh. If time allows, you can also explore Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Arrive in Leh by evening and enjoy your final night in the mountains. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your Ladakh adventure.
